UYOKCHING FOODS LLP was incorporated as Limited Liability Partnership on 20 October 2022 bearing LLP Identification Number: ABC-8289. Mrs. Haripyari Naorem and Mr. Restorjit Naorem are the designated partners of the firm. The firm is based in Kakching district of Manipur. We are into the production of the authentic indigenous foods of North East India.
We are the manufacturer and wholesaler of SOIBUM-fermented bamboo shoot, an indigenous food and one of the favorite delicacies of Manipuris and of course the whole North-East Indians. We process it through our age-old method of fermentation without using any chemicals. We don’t use any fermenting agent or any preservative in making our indigenous food- Soibum. Soibum is known for its nutritive and medicinal values.
Our vision is to empower women of Manipur by creating rural livelihood.
Our mission is to support the marginalized women of Manipur particularly the SC and ST women of Manipur by developing value chain of our indigenous foods.
We also deal in other indigenous foods of Manipur like Umorok (King Chilli), Heiribob (Citrus Macroptera), Chakhao (Black Rice) etc.
Supported by RKVY-RAFTAAR, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India and incubated at MANAGE-CIA, Hyderabad we are trying to uplift and support the forest dwellers and farmers of the North Eastern part of India particularly women community of the region.
